At EntreMundos, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Adam Chalmers’ family, friends, and everyone who made a donation in his memory.
More than ten years ago, Adam was part of EntreMundos as our Volunteer Coordinator, during an important stage in the organisation’s development. Following his passing, his family and friends organised a fundraising campaign in his memory and chose to support EntreMundos. They shared with us that Adam always carried EntreMundos in his heart and cherished the memories of his time in Guatemala. We received this gesture with deep gratitude and consider it a great honour for our organisation.
Thanks to the generosity of Adam’s family, friends, and loved ones, US$410 has been raised, and an additional donation of 500 euros has been pledged, which we hope to receive soon. Together, these contributions will help strengthen the work we carry out alongside community organisations in the Guatemalan Highlands.
Every donation represents far more than financial support. It is a vote of confidence in our mission and in the work of the community organisations we accompany as they create opportunities for development, learning, and participation.
To Adam’s family, his friends, and everyone who made this initiative possible, thank you for thinking of EntreMundos and for turning Adam’s memory into an act of generosity. We are honoured to know that his time with our organisation left a meaningful impression and that, today, it continues to create a positive impact.
